Thank you for your sweet words, Miss EJ!

Maryam was a perfectionist who set herself really high standards. She asked lots of questions, listened, absorbed my advice and then applied it in a devastating way!

It all boils down to hard work and talent! Maryam spent hours and hours and hours in the Learning Zone (competing with her sister, Mona!!!???)

Like you, EJ, Maryam has a splendid vocabulary and when you both care passionately about a subject (as with the capital punishment essay) the quality of your writing shows.

Maybe the best thing, Maryam, is to give us some tips as to how you performed so well in the LISTENING and READING? The receptive skills are so difficult to teach and students' cognitive processes are a mystery to me!

All the best EJ, and hope you can share some of your success with us, Maryam!

Enjoy the weekend!

Tony
